Barley news Canada: No change in barley crop forecast but exports expectations are slightly up

There is no change in Canadian barley production forecast, at 9.74 mln tonnes, RMI Analytics said in their late November report.

The export forecast is increased slightly in anticipation of Argentina’s problems leading to higher demand from Canada.

While some relief to dry conditions arrived during the past two weeks, the situation remains drier across much of Alberta, Saskatchewan and into North Dakota in the US than the long-term average.
